The winners of two categories in the Housebuilder Awards used James Jones engineered timber products, reports James Jones &amp; Sons – timber systems division.<br> <br> The joint winner in the Best Product category – the RoofSpace I-Roof – incorporates JJI-Joists and BJ Beam glulam in the roof scheme. And Linden Homes, winner of the Best Regeneration Project Award for Kingston Mills in Wiltshire, used JJI-Joists in new floor schemes incorporating under floor heating and MVHR (mechanical heating with heat recovery) systems.<br> <br> James Jones &amp; Sons says that the RoofSpace I-Roof provides a fully engineered EWP panelised roof solution that is cost effective for the housebuilder, delivering high levels of thermal performance with quality manufacture, speed of erection and reduced health and safety risk.<br> <br> Hailed as a success when incorporating large holes and MVHR systems within the floor zone, the company says that the JJI-Joist has proved itself time and again with architects and ventilation engineers, by providing cost effective solutions for services, with on-site adaptability to accommodate changes during the build process.<br> <br> www.jji-joists.co.uk
