Avant targets 2,000 homes a year

<p>Avant Homes has seen revenue rise 43% to £160 million over the six month period to the end of October on the back of strong growth in completions and a 16% increase in private average selling price to £246,000. At 721, completions are up 27% compared with the prior year.</p> <p>Following major investment in 2014, the firm is now looking to grow and has set a medium term target of becoming a £500 million turnover, 2,000 unit per annum business. Avant will do this by scaling up its four regional divisions while maintaining its mid-market focus and a “disciplined approach” to land buying.</p> <p>In the six month period sales per site per week reached 0.85 with this figure reaching 1.01 in August and September, a record for the group.
