Avant Homes launches North Yorkshire region

<p>Avant Homes has launched a North Yorkshire region, taking the number of operations to seven.</p> <p><span>In its new region the housebuilder, which builds in England and Scotland, currently has five schemes of 726 new homes in total, with a total gross development value of £206 million. The business has construction underway at the 80-home Ambretone Park in Green Hammerton, Harrogate, its 154-home Greenwards Point development in Easingwold, York and Strawberry Fields, its 129-home scheme in Carlton, Leeds.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>Avant has also received planning permission for a £42 million scheme of 150 homes in Sherburn-in-Elmet. And it is awaiting a planning decision on a £60 million, 213-home scheme which forms </span><span>part of</span><span> phase one of the Skelton Gate regeneration scheme in Leeds.</span></p><p></p> <p>The housebuilder’s seventh region adds to its operations in <span class="bumpedfont20">Stirling, Sunderland, Wakefield, Chesterfield, Nottingham and Solihull. </span></p> <p><span>Scott Varley, Avant Homes’ regional chairman, said: “Avant Homes North Yorkshire is an exciting expansion to our business which forms part of our ongoing nationwide strategic growth plan.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>“Launching with three developments underway, and two others receiving planning approval, means we have a great deal of momentum in North Yorkshire allowing us to deliver much-needed, new-build homes for people in the region.”</span></p><p>- …
