Arcadis offers expertise to innovative housing initiative

<p><span>Arcadis has joined a consortium for a new initiative in Bristol which will explore modern methods of construction (MMC) as part of creating innovative housing solutions in the city.</span></p><p><span>The design and consultancy organisation for natural and built assets will bring its expertise to the partnership, led by market organisation YTKO and between Bristol City Council, the Bristol Housing Festival, the Building Research Establishment (BRE) and nine modular housing companies. The project will look to improve the speed, cost and social value of almost £78 million of housing planned for the city over the next five years.</span></p> <p><span>Arcadis explained it would help create a “toolkit” for delivery, building new algorithms and data to enable planning for MMC.
