A new approach to commercial and community heating

With energy prices continually on the rise, renewable technologies that can help reduce energy usage in commercial applications are always welcomed. If that technology can also help meet increasingly stringent standards and regulations, such as Part L of the new 2010 Building Regulations, then it is even more valuable. <br> <br> Daikin has developed a high output air-to-water heat pump suitable for use in both commercial buildings and larger scale domestic dwellings to provide heating from renewable energy. It achieves this without the drawbacks of traditional community heating, such as the requirement for fuel storage or deliveries. <br> <br> The world first Daikin Altherma Flex Type air-towater heat pump uses heat pump technology with heating flow temperatures up to 80° C. It has recently been extended to enable it to be used in a range of diverse commercial buildings as well as apartment buildings and high density housing.<br> <br>
