10,000 homes for Lincs

10,000 new homes are to be built in north Lincolnshire following the approval of the local council's core strategy. <br> <br> The development of the 5,000 acre Lincolnshire Lakes urban extension scheme will be taken forward by the Lucent Group and will see, in addition to the 10,000 homes, 100,000 sq m of commercial development, schools, shops, hotel and leisure facilities. The project involves the development of a number of lakes to provide a new waterside neighbourhood.<br> <br> Lucent is lead developer in partnership with North Lincolnshire Council. "Lucent welcomes the opportunity to develop Lincolnshire Lakes," said head of planning Anthony Brindley. "This is a prestigious and ambitious project which North Lincolnshire Council has embarked on and we are happy to provide our expertise to bring this project to fruition."<br> <br>
