How the awards work....
Judges will be looking for examples of initiative, innovation and imagination in addressing the demands of each category. Entries are open to developers and suppliers/consultants, where appropriate. Third party testimonials in support of entries are strongly encouraged to establish the overall reputation of a particular project or initiative.
The top ten categories are available to enter. Our judges will select the winners of the ‘housebuilder of the year’ awards from all entries submitted in other categories.
Entrants should show evidence of innovation and improvement over the past 18 months. Developments/initiatives do not necessarily have to be completed, but entry must state what stage it is at.
Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish in all categories, each entry requires a separate submission and the entry form can be photocopied.
Each entry must comprise a statement of not more than 500 words on a maximum of four pages of A4 (stapled, not bound). Images can be inserted within these four pages. Five copies of the 500 word submission must be supplied with each entry within each category, these are sent to judges before the panel meet.
Additional material (such as photographs, DVD and third party endorsements) should also be included. Only one copy of additional material is required and should be presented in an A4 size folder. These will be presented to the judges at the panel.
Please supply at least one jpeg image for possible use on the awards presentation and magazine coverage. Copyright approval must be obtained for all material submitted.
Entries must be submitted by noon on Friday 18 May (extended and final deadline)
The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
Winners may advertise their success in promotional literature and on stationary, stating the year in which they won.
