HBF Planning Conference 2011

HBF’s annual planning conference was held in Milton Keynes on Thursday. A great line up of speakers headed by John Howell MP, CLG Parliamentary Private Secretary, spoke to delegates about the challenges of Localism and neighbourhood planning.

Peter Andrew, Taylor Wimpey Group Director and a member of the NPPF Practitioners Advisory Group, inevitably received the greatest number of questions. However, it was the insights into neighbourhood planning from a number of the speakers including Suzanne Parkes of Mole Valley District Council, that held delegates attention as everyone seeks out hints and tips for how to move forward under the new government’s planning agenda.
