Drainfast: Waste entering manholes...the muck stops here

df oct 4

Waste entering manholes is a significant problem on construction sites.  A survey we recently took of over 350 building trade professionals showed that 98% agree that waste entering manholes on construction sites is having a negative impact on the environment and the water system. But this has been almost impossible to prevent, and with large volumes of muck entering the system, clearing the drains once construction is complete can be costly, time-consuming and even dangerous.

As part of our mission to solve frustrations for groundworkers, we have been working on an innovative solution to the problem.   With the new MuckStopper® range from Drainfast, most of the debris can be captured and easily removed at little cost or effort.  Key benefits include:

  • Reduced jetting costs
  • Reduced contamination
  • Reduced call back costs
  • Reduced labour costs
  • Prevents drain damage
  • Good for health & safety
  • Improved customer satisfaction
  • Peace of mind

The MuckStopper 450 is used for 450mm inspection chambers, featuring a bucket-shaped central body installed at the bottom of the chamber shaft to efficiently capture dirt and debris. When the bucket is full, an extendable pole attaches to the bucket so it can be hoisted to ground level and emptied.
