Michael Chang

Michael is a Chartered Town Planner overseeing the TCPA's Reuniting Health with Planning initiative of activities with the most recent project turning its attention on engaging with the housebuilding industry as a key partner in building healthy places. As part of the project he is responsible for engaging key partners including NHS England's Healthy New Towns and Public Health England, and many of the local authorities bringing forward new Healthy New Towns, Garden Villages and Towns. He completed a secondment to Public Health England in 2016, and believes the planning process plays an important role in creating the quality of homes and environments we need to for a maintaining a healthy population and vibrant local economies.
