Douglas Cochrane

Douglas is Head of Housing Development at Lloyds Banking Group, a role he has held for nearly 10 years.  He and his team are responsible for the Banks retail relationships with the house building and affordable housing sectors.  Douglas started his career in LBG over 38 years ago with the then Halifax Building Society.  He has held a number of senior roles in branch and relationship management.  Douglas is a member of NHBC's Scottish Committee and National Council and is vice-Chair of CML Scotland.  Lloyds Banking Group are a major player in the house building industry with leading support through mortgage and commercial funding to the sector.  Douglas is a frequent contributor to housing policy debates with the Westminster and devolved governments.
