Lives in Tattenhall, Cheshire

Working life has mainly been in office administration and tele-sales although currently employed by Cheshire Community Action as a Community Agent.

Co-opted as a Parish Councillor in Broxton (Cheshire) in 1990 becoming Chairman in 1998. Joined Tattenhall Parish Council in 2002 after moving there in 1996.

Whilst Chair of Tattenhall PC oversaw the drawing up of the Village Design Statement and the building of 14 affordable rented properties for local people. Currently a member of the PC's Community Safety Group, Community Pride Group and planning committee.

Served 2 years as a Local Authority councillor on Chester City Council just prior to its reorganisation in 2009.

Other voluntary commitments are, LA Governor at Farndon Primary School, Chair of Your Housing Residents Association; secretary and member of Tattenhall Over Fifties (TOF's) Club; secretary and member of Chester Crime Prevention Panel; secretary and member of Tattenhall Homewatch group DCLG Neighbourhood Planning Champion.

Very proud to lead the Neighbourhood Planning steering group that, with huge community support, produced the 5th '€made'€ plan in the UK and the first in Cheshire.
