Clive Turner

Clive Turner has been associated with research on house building for over 30 years. His work has followed a number of threads during that time related to housing quality and performance. He has published widely on good practice, and managed information dissemination programmes while working for BRE, the Construction Best Practice Programme and the Zero Carbon Hub.

In 2012 he moved to his current position as Research Manager with the NHBC Foundation, where he supports the programme of research and its outputs. His enduring interest has been in the development and design of practical guidance and information, and how to improve information transfer and retention within construction and house building in particular.
